The classes required for this major include classes featured in a traditional liberal arts education as well as information on working in a modern healthcare environment. One of the best parts of this program is the opportunity to engage in field work and obtain real-world experience during the education process. Places where students may work after graduation include voluntary health agencies, local and state health departments, and patient education within hospitals or other healthcare settings.
